Our staff provides a friendly, professional and experienced service and work with you to plan the day you want. There are a number of rooms for you to choose from, giving you the freedom to choose your ideal surroundings.

Ceremony and Celebrations

The beautifully ornate Victorian Drawing Room and elegant Library provide exquisite backdrops for wedding ceremonies with up to 80 guests. Alternatively for a smaller gathering, you may prefer the intimacy of the Georgian Small Dining Room or Boudoir.

Formal meals are taken in the impressive and magnificently restored sumptuous Banqueting Room (up to 80 guests), and the marble Entrance Hall and Grand Staircase provide the perfect backdrop for drinks and dancing at your evening reception (up to 120 guests). Informal buffets and seating can be offered from the adjoining Blue Room.

What's on offer

Hylands House is available to hire for your wedding Tuesday – Saturday throughout the year. When you hire Hylands, the house is exclusively yours. It is hired on a venue only basis meaning that you can select your own wedding caterers and suppliers from our extensive list of preferred contractors and have the wedding you want! The use of furniture and bar facilities is included within our hire charges, as well as the services of a front of house manager and staff throughout your function.

Hylands House is fully accessible throughout for wheelchair users and pushchairs, with ample parking provided – if you have any special requirements please let us know how we can help.
