| Deans Place is a traditional country house hotel nestled at the foot of the South Downs surrounded by rolling countryside. Although in a peaceful location, the Hotel is just a 15 minute drive from Eastbourne & Lewes and only 13 miles from Brighton, and has ample free parking. |

Deans Place is situated on the edge of Alfriston, one of East Sussex 's oldest and prettiest villages. The Hotel has achieved an enormous amount since it opened 50 years ago, converting from a manor farming estate to a 36-bedroom country retreat with facilities of an extremely high standard. Features include the now locally renowned Harcourts Restaurant which serves continental cuisine as well as traditional, a heated outdoor swimming pool, extensive conference & banqueting facilities, and a wedding garden, for which the Hotel gained its license in 2003, making it the first venue in the area where couples can get married outdoors. | A choice of ceremony and reception suites to suit your individual style and ceremony requirements, with a maximum capacity of 150 guests for a sit down meal and 200 for an evening buffet or barbeque. The Wedding Garden set within the hotel grounds has space for up to 150 guests and with the South Downs providing a stunning back drop, is the perfect setting for a summer ceremony. Our front terrace area has been converted to form a fabulous alfresco dining area and provides a beautiful setting for your drinks reception and photographs. Competent and friendly wedding co-ordinators are always available to assist you from your initial enquiry up until the day, and a master of ceremonies who will greet your guests and co-ordinate proceedings to ensure the smooth running of your day |
