Philpots Manor is a beautiful sixteenth century country manor nestled in the Heart of the Kent countryside. Once home to Lord Mayor of London Sir Thomas de Philipot and thought to be an original part of the Hever estate.

Our Manor house offers the grandeur of a stately home combined with a warm, welcoming and sincere atmosphere. This however, would be impossible to achieve without the help of our loyal and hand picked staff, there to ensure that your day is The most relaxing, yet exciting day of your life. Namely because we pride ourselves on the preparation, planning and attention to detail which has gained us a reputation for excellence ensuring that your day runs without a hitch.

Ceremony and Celebrations

 

We have a unique dining room that seats up to forty guests following your dramatic entrance from the galleried landing, sweeping down the staircase accompanied by the music of your choice. We have a full entertainments licence here at Philpots Manor and are able to provide a full range of artists from string quartets and solo harpists to Spanish guitarist or jazz bands.

Our dedicated chef works throughout the day preparing every morsel of your chosen menu from the first canapé to coffee and petit fours, by hand, to the standard that has earned him a prestigious reputation for excellence. Importantly, it is beautifully and tastefully presented and efficiently served by our well trained friendly and hard working staff.

 

What's on offer

 

Our bridal suite includes a large comfortable four poster bed, an original fireplace featuring Italian marquetry and of course, ensuite facilities.

If you wish we can arrange a host of manicurists, beauticians and hairdressers who will be delighted to come straight to your bedroom, making sure you are preened, pampered and relaxed on your special day.

We have some of the oldest and most attractive gardens in Kent with a range of outdoor furniture and patio heaters to keep you and your guests comfortable, making it perfect for photographers to capture every moment on a balmy summer's day.

n winter, we welcome guests with roaring log fires throughout that compliment the house's lavish feel perfectly. When all your guests have gone, you can retire to your suite, where you can relax by firelight in the privacy of your bedroom.
