Ideally located in South West London within easy reach of the city, BAC Venues is the former Battersea Town Hall – a Grade II Listed Building designed by E M Mountfield, the architect responsible for the Old Bailey.

As a hirer you will be given sole use of the venue, with the flexibility to bring in a caterer of your choice and to decorate the halls as you wish. With this in mind, you can transform the Venue to suit your own particular taste, or just let the guests sit back and admire the wonderful décor of the rooms themselves

Ceremony and Celebrations

BAC Venues are licensed for Civil Partnerships and there are several locations for you and your partner to exchange vows as well as rooms large enough to facilitate the largest parties.

Grand Hall
Your guests would enter through the beautiful foyer, with its original mosaic floor and breathtaking stained glass cupola, into the Grand Hall. This lavishly decorated room has a vaulted ceiling, sprung dance floor and many other unique, period details. The Venue is licensed for ceremonies taking place in the Foyer and on the stage in the Hall, so your guests can enjoy either an intimate view of the service or the dramatic sight within the Hall itself.

The Foyer can accommodate up to 60 people for a ceremony whilst the Grand Hall has a capacity of up to 400 people for a sit-down dinner or up to 500 for a standing reception.

Lower Hall
This intimate space is ideal for those wishing to spend their big day with a smaller group of friends and family. It is a self-contained hall with its own entrance, foyer and kitchen facilities. Light and airy, the hall has a simplistic beauty ideal for a daytime ceremony and can also be readily transformed by simple lighting or candlelight for an evening reception.

The Lower Hall can hold up to 150 people for a sit-down dinner or 180 for a standing reception.

The Events Team at BAC Venues believe that all weddings are unique and to that end we offer a basic wedding package which provides a generous discount for those people wanting to have their ceremony or reception here. The hirer is therefore free to tailor the event to their needs, adding any of the other services that we offer should they wish.
