Andaz Hotel

In the heart of London's City lays the Andaz Hotel, a masterful infusion of stylish modern design set against stunningly opulent Victorian features. Surrounding the area are some of the most influential, cultural and historical references to British life.

The Andaz Hotel was built in 1884 and reopened its doors in 2000 after a £70 million refurbishment.  References to both modern and classic can be found around the hotel, most notably our striking Rotunda and Gallery spaces. The building is a fine example of Victorian public architecture; the magnificent red brick façade, and inside many classic features, including marble staircases, fine plasterwork and mouldings, and many elegant public rooms. Most of the hotel is listed, and reflects the romantic confidence of the Victorian era.

With 267 bedrooms, a gym, steam room and treatment rooms for some relaxation, and a unique combination of four restaurants and four bars, there is something for everyone. At Great Eastern, we aim to deliver an experience that far exceeds the expectation of each and every guest.

Ceremony and Celebrations

Andaz has a huge range of Private Dining Rooms that are licensed, including the Great Eastern Room, the Bishopsgate and Chancery and the Aurora restaurant.

The Great Eastern Room - Guests can meet and mingle within the Gallery, our six floor atrium area, before going through to the contemporary styled Great Eastern Room. With a maximum of 170 for a ceremony and also a dinner dance, its an ideal suite to impress guests on your day!

The Chancery & Bishopsgate and the Fenchurch - These rooms all are listed areas of the hotel, and your guests would be welcomed with high ceilings and original fireplaces. They vary in size for an intimate wedding for 30 for your nearest and dearest, up to 90 guests in the Fenchurch.

Aurora - In Aurora, our fine dining restaurant, your ceremony would take place under the wonderful and original stain glassed dome. Alternatively, you can have your reception and dinner in Aurora, and with its pewter bar, and piano, creates a wonderful relaxed atmosphere for the celebrations.

The Temple - The Temple, built over a hundred years ago, was one of the grandest Masonic Temples of its time. Guests can be welcomed in its spacious mahogany panelled ante-room, before going through, down its winding marble staircase, to admire the marble walls and zodiac ceiling. A fantastic space for drinks receptions or intimate dinners your guests cannot be failed to be impressed!

What's on offer

At the Andaz, there are many complimentary services and gifts to help make the planning for  your day even more special and relaxing! These include our dedicated Wedding & Events Manager, to assist and oversee during the planning and throughout the day, and who can help with flowers, matching wines, entertainment or even where to find the perfect invite!

A complimentary suite for you on the night of the celebrations is on us, in addition to dressing rooms for you both prior to the ceremony. There are some fantastic deals for accommodation that family and friends can take advantage of, with rooms at weekends starting from £100 + VAT. We can arrange a private breakfast for you and your guests the following morning, or a table for brunch in one of our restaurants. In addition to this, there's a complimentary SPA treatment for you both, consultation with our in house florist, and a menu tasting so that you are fully satisfied with your menu and wine choices!

Our all inclusive wedding packages start from £120 per person or we can create a bespoke package to include all that you are looking for.
