The Lodge, a secluded country house, sits peacefully on the shores of Loch Goil on the west coast of Scotland just one hours drive from Glasgow.

The Lodge

Built in the late 1860's by William Leiper this spectacular arts and crafts style hunting lodge is the perfect romantic location for your wedding venue. We have seven individually designed double en-suite bedrooms, three of which can be converted into twins and the summerhouse,which can accommodate two.

At the Lodge there will be no other guests here during your stay, other than those that you have decided to bring with you. The house is exclusively yours.

Ceremony and Celebrations

Looking out of the window you could just see the tips of some fuschia feathers vanishing out of sight. Through the open door, the distant sound of clinking champagne glasses and faint cries of laughter could be heard. Before long the piper would begin and you start making your way downstairs......

The Treehouse, Scotland's most romantic wedding venue, in our large Scots Pine Tree is a fairytale escape from reality.

Whether it's to be a small and intimate affair or something more lavish, The Lodge is the perfect place for your wedding. The Lodge's own wedding coordinator can arrange everything for you, from flowers to entertainment to your wedding cake. The summerhouse at the bottom of the garden is the perfect place to spend your wedding night.

And for those final magical touches arrive at the Lodge by seaplane or sail on our beautiful yacht The Andorina.

What's on offer

By working closely together, we can put in place the plans to make this day unforgettable in every way. From the minute you arrive our dedicated staff will ensure that you enjoy each and every moment of your stay. Our chef has worked in some of the finest restaurants. Using only organic meat and vegetables, the freshest fish and the finest herbs and spices he creates daily miracles in our kitchens.

To book the Lodge requires a minimum of eight guests, staying for two nights or more. Our tariff includes accommodation, full Scottish breakfast, afternoon tea and evening meal.

For the larger groups we have a superb marquee and can offer receptions for up to 80 people.
