Inside, the foyer, with a cantilevered staircase, leads you to the splendour of the Banqueting Hall with glittering chandeliers and ceiling roses edged in gold. We also have a number of other impressive rooms available for your ceremony, varying in size.

If you have never been to South Wiltshire before, prepare to be amazed. The city itself has a medieval setting with a modern heart and quite literally dominating the city is our most famous attraction, the 800-year-old Cathedral that is set in the elegant and serene Close.

Salisbury and its surrounding area has so much to offer that you may be tempted to say for a while to explore our countryside, experience our festival and be seduced by our beauty and tranquility.

What's on offer

Along with the Banqueting Hall, we have three other rooms available for your ceremony, each with their own unique style and atmosphere.

The Grand Jury Room is an impressive room steeped in history and surrounded by paintings depicting scenes from Salisbury 's varied past. It also houses the city silver collection, which is spread over two oak cabinets. A maximum of 50 people can be seated here for a ceremony and 25 people for a seated reception.

Becoming increasingly popular for ceremonies, The Oak Court can hold a maximum of 120 people. This is a beautiful, oak paneled room dating from 1896. It is a smaller replica of the Old Bailey – the perfect place if you are looking for something that is that little bit different.

The Foyer is a very impressive setting for a ceremony, seating up to 50 people. It houses an ornate cantilevered staircase which is a wonderful setting for photographs, or can be used for a very grand entrance!

The Guildhall could be exclusively yours, providing an intimate yet impressive setting for that special day in your life. We look forward to being the perfect choice for both the ceremony and reception.
